For nearly 15 years, the studio has been helping clients define who they are, clarify what they do, as well as inform their intended audiences why they matter by engaging their consumers with thought-provoking visual narratives and digital experiences through a range of creative services.
Early in its existence, the studio's Principal made a conscious decision to remain lean in order to provide clients with an intimate consulting experience. Although independently operated, the studio possesses a unique ability to scale and custom-tailor teams by leveraging a trusted network of specialized associates developed over Martin's 15+ years in the creative business.
A broad scope of clients have included professional athletes, leagues, media companies, collegiate sports properties and conferences, high school and college athletic departments, professional sports organizations, prep schools, consumer and lifestyle brands, tech startups, and ad agencies.
Unfortunately, due to the contractual nature of the sports and entertainment industries, some of the studio's projects are private and not available for public viewing.
After obtaining a B.F.A. in Graphic Design ('05) from Eastern Kentucky University, Adam Martin began his career as a graphic and interactive designer at a renown college sports marketing agency called Host Communications (known today as Learfield IMG College). Upon discovering his entrepreneurial spirit, Adam left Host Communications in late 2006 to open his own creative studio with plans to bring digitally-driven design, creative direction and brand strategy to clients in sports & entertainment.
For 15 years, Adam has been creating award-winning creative work and has become a respected voice in sports marketing via his podcast and media brand, Makers of Sport®. Although his work is widely known in the sports industry, Adam and his trusted business partners have experience in other verticals as well including consumer brands, food & beverage, higher education, tech startups, medical/healthcare, automotive, associations/non-profits, and manufacturing/industrial industries.
Adam resides near Lexington, Kentucky with his wife and 3 kids. In his spare time he enjoys hiking in Red River Gorge, coaching youth sports, cooking, listening to podcasts and watching college football.
